Copper tees have bodies brazed on.Using copper for the tee portion allows tubing to be attached to each end and allows using a solderless than silver solder. They are to be usedwhere two line ends have not yet been attached orwhere it is desireable to cut a line rather than drive a hole on an uncharged system.
